Went to work on the truck today and the lug nuts are absolutely wrecked so I ordered a new [aftermarket] set so when I remove the old ones I can just toss them into the garbage where they belong.

Got new titanium lugs. Theyre shockingly light. No wonder rich people use it for their bike frames.

Installed new hubs on each side and put the new lugnuts on.

Pulled the side steps off to clean and repaint them. Doesn't look too bad without them.

painted the brackets only the finest rattle can flat black. It was left over from my time in Canada. Really great stuff.

Sanded, painted and applied truck bed liner spray onto side steps. They had a ton of paint torn off around where the tires would flip rocks and stuff into it.




Also got in there and applied fluid film in the rocker panels and resealed them.

Took the truck back to the shop that did differential overhaul. A weird grinding noise reared its ugly head the other day.

On the bright side really good camping weather has rolled into Florida. Over the past weekend the days were low 80s and nights were mid 50s.

Going to try to snag a spot at the nearby "camping" place thats a 5 minute walk from the beach.
