Did I miss something?
Where did the 35' Airstream come from? I know Al's isn't quite that long.

And just remember you're going nowhere without pit #1

16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
Semi late notice but I am going to try my hardest to possibly make it. I would love to learn / see how a SCORE baja race works, be aprt of a pit crew for one, too cool! :) I will volunteer for the early fuel station #1 at this point, but don't rely on me just yet unfortunately :(

EDIT -- unfortunately definitely out :(

You guys are going to have SOOO much fun! Its my favorite race of all time! I can't wait until we can afford to start racing this one again every year. We made it 5 in a row and now we'll miss it for the second year in a row.
Great to see so many people excited to lend their support!!
Good luck, be safe!!

P.S. If anyone is thinking about going and wants a taste we'll be racing on cinco de mayo down at the www.prodesertracing.com race in rocky point and another sonora mexico one before the 500 comes!

checking in!

Hi Scott and Jonathan

This is just a quick note to say I’m still on for the 500. I plan on being at contingency Friday morning ready to go.

Do you have any idea of the course yet? (I know that the map will be posted on the 19th) I’m hoping that traditionally the route has the last part of the course heading up the pacific side of the coast. My family would probably have more fun if we where near the water…

Ether way I’ll be ready!

Best,

Matt

Pit Teams Updated

Hey all!

I have updated the pit teams with those who have committed. Please let me know if there are any changes. I have a few PM's into those that expressed interest, but have not committed yet.

I will be reviewing the course for pit locations soon (also coordinating with the other driver, Cain Smead and the team manager, Dave).

More details in the next two days. :av-7:

Are you guys going to be pre-running the weekend prior? I can't make the race but will be down in Baja the weekend of the 26th.

The course map is posted.

Good luck Scott (and Chris)! Keep all wheels earthbound and churning!

I don't know my assignment yet but imagine that I'll be somewhere between RM 110 and 142, more or less.

Interesting course. Not new, but some new 'twists'. Glad it's a downhill at Simpson's. Don't want a pile-up like last year.

We're outta here tomorrow a.m. (after checking the mail....:coffee: )

Cheers all.

Allen,
If you guys swing by San Diego, stop by and say hi!

Otherwise, hopefully we'll see you in Baja!

Good luck Scott (and Chris)!

Thank you sir! ;)

BTW, we hashed out some plans today and it looks like our chances of getting down to your place this time around are pretty much nil. We will keep our fingers crossed for another chance later this year. Good luck to you too.

Robb,

Many thanks, but from the Santa Barbara area we usually head SE and drop in around where the 15/215 connect w/the 10, so we don't go by SD. Thanks anyway.

Chris,
Got your e-mail, but the link won't let me see to what your refer.

Great ride south today amidst the basins and ranges of Nevada.
