Yeah, its fine. Although i prefer to come in and go out via the north road. Its faster and much more senic + your in the middle of nowhere :gunt:
And apparently we're all breaking the law any time we camp next to the beach, but now theyre inforcing it at scorp due to someone buying up the land and claiming ownership. A$$holes. and its the federales who are inforcing it to... not the cantina.

Wow thanks!

Did you guys travel the east road at all? I have heard that it is pretty hammered after the hurricane.

So...Whenever I camp close to the beach I am technically breaking the law?

And is it the mean tide line, high tide line, low tide???

Awesome campsite. Looks like its howling offshore/sideshore. I'm jealous of you socalers. It takes me 8-9 hrs just to get to the border. At least I have santa cruz. I wish santa cruz interms of crowds was like baja....yeah right I'll keep on dreaming. :sombrero:

Hey robb, in that photo it looks like you have your boards strapped on the side of the tent - do you have a really wide roof rack? Seems much better than what ive been doing - strapping the boards on top of the eezi awn which turns into lift off once i hit 60.

Oh, and camping is still allowed, everyone is just moved up 60' from the cliff edge - take your tape measure just to be sure... :sport_box

After traveling to a lot places for surf and spending $$ and vacation time, I come to realize that world class breaks are right in my backyard. Draw backs are crowds and locals. But there are still a few gems. You just gotta know when to go. I work 9hrs a day and get every other monday off. On those Mondays off, I'm pretty much in SC the whole day with two wetsuits and truck full of boards.:jump:

Recently I've had some really awesome sessions at PP on the LB with 100 yard rights. I did the biggest cutback of my life one morning on my fish :wings:

Robb sorry for talking like a little girl and running your thread.
