Baja Rack fuel cans

I recently purchased a baja expedition roof rack for my FjC. Looking at the attached photo there is a gas can that fits in the front compartment. Can someone ID it for me and point me to the dealer. I placed a plastic mil spec water can in there and that was big by about 3 inches. Tango Yankee

Those aren't Wedco cans. The Wedco has a weld that goes around the can vertically. They're made from two halves welded together. I know that photo from the BajaRack advertising, but I don't think it is a current design. Here is a link to a photo of the BajaRack can rack from Sierra Expeditions.

I have the same rack on my FJ. Today I tried to fit my wedco cans and they are to Big. The only way to do it is to lay them down on the wide side facing each other.

I have no idea what brand these cans are but they are not wedco.

I have a few ideas on how to mount the wedco's though.

x2 They show them holding some CARB blitzs but they will hold the scepters also

Sure there are. They will all fit but just not the way they are mounted in the picture. You will have to put wedco's on their side and rachet them down or build a mount for them to sit in. I'll work on it and post it up. I'm thinking Home depot has what's needed.

Just a thought but I bet you could call the bajarack people and ask them straight away. Worst thing would be if those particular cans aren't in production anymore.

Yeap, I did that I they pointed me to the new can brackets and dismissed the photo that I sent. Thanks

They actually look like Blitz cans with those ridiculous CARB spouts.

I have NATO cans & Specter water cans & they don't fit.
I'll have to call Bajaracks Monday to see if there was a bad batch that got out. I tried 8 different NATOS & 2 different Specter cans none fit
