I'm waiting for the next run to get in my hands. Hood news for my friend is that he is super busy and expanding his shop. Bad news for me is side stuff takes a while longer.
They are cut. Need to get them and form them.

Alright everyone, the revised versions are here.

There are two new features of the bracket to accommodate a larger range of models. First is a notch on one of the side wings to clear a button on the UV082 models.

Second is a break off tab up top. This tab should be removed if you order the new Baofeng BF-F8HP with the thicker 2100mAh batteries. For all other UV-5 series units and the standard BF-F8 radios, do not break off the tab. After breaking the tab off, file the nubs down or sand them smooth.
