Are you back home? Looking forward to your write-up!
Just got back and letting the dust settle. 13,300 kms, just an amazing trip. We picked up the last of our paddling stuff in Yellowknife (stayed on Latham Island near the Air Tindi float plane base. We could have thrown a rock and hit Ragged Ass Road....)
Sadly, we had to say good bye to our boats which have almost been like family but we needed to see them one last time before we could open a new chapter.
But, lots to report on which I will start working on soon!
I've been reclaiming some old mining roads on the bottom of our property for fire breaks and emergency ingress/egress. These routes were part of the Ghost town of Tungsten and supported the two tungsten mine heads that used to sit above our property. A century later and mother nature took them back.
Anyway, each road will get it's own "street sign" so I'm loving this thread for ideas.
Right now the upper route will be called the "Art Studio Road" due to my wife's studio is going up there.
The second road is called the "Jeep Road" uninspired and will get changed but, the third road is called "Oceanview Road" because it's 8300 feet in the Rockies so why not!
