WOW!

What a great group!

We had MountainBiker, Ursidae69, AZCCP, Goodtimes and AZRain from the 4x4Wire.

As usual, Broken Arrow delivered a great day of mild wheelin' with spectacular views of the Red Rock country.

And Yes, with a great job of spotting by AZCCP, we got MountainBiker thru the whole trail - including the Devil's Staircase - with only a slightly bent exhaust shield. The 'Buru did a fine job navigating the trail!

I took photos of everyone coming down the steps, but lighting was more than a little poor, so some just aren't fit to post...

Thanks for organizing a great trip Mark. :wings: It was fun chatting with you on the repeater along the way home as well. I'll get some photos uploaded in a few days after I get back to NM.

GREAT TRIP! :)

No Way!!!

Do you guys remember the silver Tacoma that backed into the turnout so you guys could pass?

That was me! :wings:

My wife and I ran Broken Arrow for the first time this morning. Can't wait to go back.

I remember because I took several glances at your RTT as we drove by. Small world! :)

Howdy fellers, this is Mike (aka azrain), the wide body Taco driver (both me and the truck are equally wide...)

It was my great pleasure to meet some new wheelers and to be invited along on this trip. Between the stupid little knob on the dash not wanting to find 4Lo and the loose nut behind the wheel, we had a great time! HMR, I dig your Taco, nice ride.

"Follow the Jeep" at the slabs on the way out was fun, maybe not so much for the wife:

"You can't go up that."
"Yeah, getting down is the problem."
"You're gonna dent something."
"No I'm not."
"YES, YOU ARE!"
"No I'm not."
BAM
"WHAT WAS THAT!"
"Trailer hitch."
BAM
"WHAT WAS THAT!"
"Trailer hitch again, you okay?"
LOL
:D

I'll post the handful of pictures on my website in the next day or so and post the link here. If anyone wants full size copies of the pics I have, shoot me an email: azrain@cox.net

Thanks Mark,
It is always good to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. We had a great time, the forcast for rain was a little off as we had clear skies and beautiful sunshine! It was the perfect trail to try out the Liberty for the first time since we put on the lift. It worked pretty good with the exception of the rear tires stuffing a little too much into the fenderwells, I will just have to add some longer bumpstops.

Nice group - It looked like you had everything from a stock Subaru to a rock buggy in that group. Kids, Dogs, Men & Women! The Works!

Mike, nice to meet you! It looked like you was sporting a pretty nasty "desert pinstipe" all the way down the passengers side as we were leaving the trail.

We did the exact same route. Looks like we were only an hour or two ahead of you.
If only we'd stayed for another cup of coffee... :)

It'll buff out. They should be offered from the dealer that way just to ease the pain of deflowering the paint... It only hurts the first time. My choice was putting the bed in a tree or rubbing bush and I suck at body work. :)

Hey gang! Looks like I missed out on another good time. Sorry I did not make it, I had a family thing that came up so I could not go. Glad to hear everyone had a good time.
