Ya, the previous/original owner built it. He said his f150 got blown around when 18 wheelers passed going the opposite direction. My XD is super planted and the fairing needed some slight trimming for my XD so I took it off to trim, drove the truck and found it didn't do anything for mileage or stability so I've left it off. End of the day I would say it's not going to make enough difference one way or the other to be worth it.
Thanks, that’s helpful. I guess there’s no free lunch mpg-wise . . . .

Shakedown overlanding to Baja for 18 days with recently built out Tune M1 on F150. Truck and Tune did great. Some of my build suffered, and I desperately need to replace my cheapo fridges with an off-road capable fridge like Iceco, and a ViAir 400p. Full-electric, including heat and A/C. Lots of fixes and adjustments/rebuild before heading for Prudhoe Bay.

I installed a Frigidaire 5,000btu window A/C unit with high EER from Home Depot, $170. It draws less than 400w during 20 min rig cool down, then averages less than 250w. Runs on my Ecoflow Delta 2 Max. IMG_1183.jpegLess draw than my solar produces.
