:(

Well I've got some good and bad news regarding my installation today.

Good news is that it is installed and looks great. Few things that are bad.

First of all I DO NOT like to drill into my rig but with this table there isn't really a way around it. Drilled my first two hole just to find that the left hole I drilled was right on top of part of the bulkhead and there was no way I could drill through it.

Decided to relocate the holes and drilled again. A lot smoother and was able to get the tailgate installed. Had to mount it up higher so that I could get the tailgate to close and theeeeeeeeeeeeeen the cutting board was up against the subwoofer. :(

Decided to sand it down because I thought I could form it to the shape of the sub so it would close. Got close and decided to pull out the cutting board for inspection..... the tailgate wouldn't let me slide out the cutting board because part of the JK tailgate that jets out was blocking it.

Removed the table and removed the cutting board. Works pretty well now but I am p***** because I don't have a cutting board now and that was the reason why I bought the table.

Here are some pics. I'm sure ill figure out a way to get that damn cutting board back on.

Which table is that? There were no instructions on where to drill?

Frontrunner drop down tailgate table. Here is the problem. The instructions are very vague and because it is for Jeep JKs and ANY OTHER vehicles with a flat surface, they don't specify where to drill into.

I originally drilled in the rough location of where they drilled in the picture and that was right on the bulkhead.

Also got my Trasharoo in the other day. Love this thing. I don't run it everyday because don't want someone to jack with it.

Trust me neither am I. I have two holes in my tailgate not doing anything and I can't use the damn cutting board.

You might consider contacting Front Runner and give them some recommendations on the instructions to help out future buyers. Really sucks that you can't use one of the better perks of this drop down tray

I will probably email them about it in the near future. Front Runner is a great company but I don't think they were really focused I guess with this product.

I might see about getting a buz saw and cutting part of the table so it will clear. Got to engineer the ******* out of these problems man!

Like I said in the other thread, Im gonna do a lot of measuring and marking before mounting mine. Im 6'2" so higher would be better, but I do want the cutting board utilized.

Yea I drilled mine to high. :(

I would hate for you to modify your brand new tray but you might try and make a drop down bracket for the cutting board that can still retain the ergonomics of the original design in order to avoid anymore drilled holes in your tailgate

Will definitely look into it, thanks for the suggestion!
