Cheap Fridge <$400 shipped

So far we have been very happy with ours. Been out on two day trips. We really like not having to deal with ice anymore.

We did buy the 5 year warranty since at the price we got it (with the free shipping) it made sence to have the piece of mind we shouldn't need to replace it for quite a while.

If you don't need one right away, you might see if they go back on special, maybe a Memorial Day special or something. Ours was a Valentines Day weekend special.

After reading through this thread I was about convinced to take the plunge. But, compactappliance.com does not list the 43QT model. Searching Google shopping I can only find it available on ebay so it ain't gonna happen.

I also did a search and most of the older links here are no longer working.
Compact appliance is now showing
BDC40NL - ATC Home 45 Quart Portable Fridge / Freezer
for $599 which sounds like a totally different brand and much higher price.

FYI, I did a chat session with Compact Appliance and asked about the EdgeStar 43 Qt. They are just currently out of stock and the ATC is to hold over until the EdgeStar comes back in. He said he should have them back in mid May.

Sounds like all the extra exposure here on ExPo might have caused their sales to increase more then supply.

Anyone looking, might check back mid May. Passing on the info.
