Can you still swing out your gates with the trailer all hooked up?

Yeah , everything can still open. I have the tongue extended out about 3" past normal just to make sure when we travel through deep and steep situations the spares dont hit the front box. I'll have to shoot a pic for you.

Sorry for the slow response, ive been under the weather.

Very nice pics and writeup. I assume the batteries are 105 Amp-HOUR, not just 105 Amps?

I assume you park it at home? Do you happen by any chance to use a chain or hitch-lock to keep it secure? You never know how many insanely jealous ExPo readers might be planning a reverse Santa visit. Or is it protected by Smith & Wesson like most nice things in SoCal? :gunt:

Nah, I'm kidding, but that got me curious how people do keep their trailers secured if they're not way out in the boonies.

hahahaha, Actually it sits inside the warehouse here at work. Im very lucky. It's under a full security system at night. There's no way the HOA nazi's would ever let me keep it there anyways.

In the boonies I don't worry about it. At home, my trailer kicked my 4Runner out of the garage. I figure my KK trailer will last through multiple tow vehicles and deserves the extra protection & security. :)

Ahhh, I have a place at work where the owners keep four motorcycles, so I know they don't have a problem with petrol in the building. So now the storage problem is solved, I only have the tiny remaining issue of spousal permission. Hmmm.

For storage Shelter Logic makes a nice portable garage. It's 8 X 20 and stands up to abuse well. http://www.shelterlogic.com/garages/round/

I use it in the summer to store a couple of trailers, in the winter acts as a shelter for my daughter's horse. Getting the trailers in and out is easy, now if we could only get the horse to do the same!

If you decide on something like this let me know, we are a dealer for them, and can have it drop shipped directly to you.

Same here... the Kimberley, the military trailer, and the Jeep are all in the garage. The daily drivers sit in the driveway.
