Cle Elum Camping

Awsome camping trip!!! Met up with a bunch of friends for the weekend up in the Cle Elum/Roselyn area for some Memorial Day camp out. The weather was great in the 80's. Got to do a real test run with the trailer and all of our camping gear and it is almost dialed in. Lot of snow still up there so we only made it about 3/4 of the way to the top of the trail before it was to deep. All in all great weekend, can't wait to do it again soon.

What trail? I'm assuming Fortune Creek was still way too deep and steep.

Hey, did that green Taco pull out a Ford Escape stuck in the snow Friday nite around Denny Creek as we were all trying to find a route around the traffic jamb? I was in the lifted van.

I grabbed the shovel out of the back of his rig and and helped clear a little path so he could go around the stuck Escape.

We went a little past Cle Elum to Vantage.

Very nice.. great to get out with lots of friends, and have fun.. bet the nightly camp fire was a blast.

I too am done with snow.. too much over here this year.. and a foot of it got me stuck only a few weeks ago.. anyway, great looking weekend.
