CSF radiator in a 2001 XJ

Anyone tried the CSF brand all-metal 3-row radiator in their XJ (part # 2671)? I have an '01 XJ... It is expensive so I'm curious if it's good quality before I order one. If anyone has experience using one of these rads in their Jeep, I'd like to hear from you!

I have that same radiator in my '92 Comanche and it's great. If I was to buy another one, I'd get the 2 row. Seems like the 3 row doesn't allow as much airflow, and the rows are smaller.

A lot run the 3 row, but most agree that the 2 row has better flow. I'd get the 2 row

I have the all copper 2 row in my Grand it is good enough that I can drive the freeway with the A/C on and the cooling fan never comes on.

Xj's have cooling problems because the stock radiators don't cool after a few years. The stock electric fans go bad and the fan clutch gets weak or is weak. The main problem is the stock old radiator. Go to Advanced auto and buy a new one for 99 bucks, throw in a new clutch and double check the electric fan.

I was kinda wondering if the 3-row had much of an advantage over the 2-row, seeing as how there's really only enough room for a 2-row. I think I'll go with a 2-row after all and see how she does in the Utah summers.

Hey, call Jmac down in SLC, I have ordered 2 from them over the years.

They used to be good... but most are going 2 row for better flow/pipe size. That and they're not as thick so hitting the clutch fan or efan (conversion) isn't much of an issue.

I just put my 1999 xj back together using the csf 3 row. I have always had problems with over heating on a hot desert day while moving low-n-slow. I did my first run today. 4 hours in 100+ degree. Not even a burp. The csf fit right in the old spot with no problems.
