Defender X-Tech limited edition

Land Rover has released a limited edition Defender called the X-Tech.

Compared to the Defenders driven by U.N.I.T., this vehicle has different paint and upgraded interior. Prices start around 25.000 GBP / 39,600 USD. Unfortunately, Defenders are no longer imported to USA.

That looks pretty cool. I don't know if I'll ever get used to the glossy fender flares, though. Also not a huge fan of the SVX rims and the tire lettering facing out. :smiley_drive:

Just appearance and honestly, to the detriment of the vehicle. The black painted top is the wrong direction. Defenders have had white tops for decades because it is simply better for visibility from the air and reduced interior temps.

I agree-the black top doesn't work very well. I guess the plastic headlamp mounts where bolted onto the wings to align with grill which appears to have been pushed forward to fit the engine (?) If I had the choice it would be hard to pass on the classic bronze green with a limestone roof top but alas I won't get that chance here.
