Coming up to present day I've added a few small mods. First thing I added, two more spot lights to the front push bar and converted all four to 55w 6000k HID's from DDMtunning. I don't know how I drove before at night. These lights are bright, and having 4 HID's for less then $150 I'm oh so happy!

Next thing I had to do was trim up my fenders to fit these huge tires. My other 285's never rubbed, but these Firestones run big. I removed the tire and part of the flare and trimmed the pinch weld. I also had to trim the mud flap and some of the flare. Everytime I went offroad I would find a new place to trim. With no swaybars and these Icons, the front really moves, and I'm only at about 2" of lift.

Last thing I have pictures of right now, was adding bedliner. I used Dupli-Color Bed Armor DIY kit. It has chunks of kevlar it in that they say makes it strong and flexiable. It came out ok, but if I had to do it again I would get the bed Line-X. I just had to get rid of the plastic bedliner because it rattled around so much and trapped alot of rush inhibiting debris.

Thanks! They are nice trucks. I've got 132k+ miles on it and has never gave me any problems. I just wish there were more aftermarket support. More to come soon...

About a month ago I bought FatMat Ultimate sound deadening. It says it around 80mil thick. This stuff sure does stick on anything. Only problem is that it smells of tar, and took about a month-now-of driving with the windows down to fully get rid of the smell. I bought waaaaay to much! 150 sqft is overboard, and I only used one 50sqft roll and maybe 2ft more of the second roll, and that cover everything: the floor, back wall, and all the doors.

Verdict, besides the smell, it sure is much quieter and solid sounding. Stereo sounds much fuller, and there are no vibrations. The doors close with a solid "thud". Now with all the extra my brother and I started on his Tacoma, and we still have too much left over. Maybe the roof next...Sorry didn't get a picture of the doors, I was way too tired toward the end.

Beware of dog! She will lick you to death!

Everything out, and a good time to re-route my speaker wires.

Peel and stick!

All covered.

Before I put the carpet down I gave it a good scrub, and steam clean.

Thanks. Yours is coming along nicely! Don't let this thread discourage you, all this progress has taken me 4yrs to do and save for. Alot of my purchases were off of craigslist which saved me alot, so keep an eye out. :Wow1:
