I came across this camper awhile back...fairly creative use of space. I wouldn't trust all of that gadgetry in an off-road camper, but for primarily paved surfaces I think it would last quite awhile.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but they built that back in 2000. I remember seeing it back on the web years ago, they were converting an old freight truck into a camper to travel around Japan. Nice job, wonder what they did with it after the trip in 2001?
