My Lear 180 is a cargo-securing device that also protects cargo from the weather. Try that. Then again, I don't have an HOA to contend withI’d find the nicest picture online of a truck and camper combo that you desire and show it to the HOA board to see if it will work in driveway. Don’t call it a camper call it a cap or something
Geeze. I should get this just to help get the topper on and off my truck at will, alone. Back it up between 4 8x8's that have chains and 2x4's with eye-bolts...These are intriguing, they don't show them being for a Ranger but I wonder if they could make something or if something could be adapted.

You gotta get the HOA board to approve paint colors- fence selections, etc. don’t forget the walkers to inspect and make sure your garbage can is never visible from the road. It’s a fine line, HOA does have a place. Ours was disbanded about 15 years back and the guy on the corner has a bbq food truck and what appears to be cousin eddies rv parked in his side yard so I do get it a bit…I can sort of understand the whole HOA no RV's thing but those minimal pop ups are closer to a topper than an RV or camper. I can't imagine anyone would have a "real" problem with it. I'd probably just do it and if it turned into a kerfuffle, I'd paint my house purple.
Also by definition, a pop up canopy isn't an RV or camper.
Yes. Was mostly thinking insurance and DOT.Greatly depends on who does the defining.
I'm glad I have no HOA and the nearest neighbor is almost half a mile away.
You make a good point.Yes. Was mostly thinking insurance and DOT.
