Here are some pics of a bumper made by Armorology. This is the type of design I'm going for but unfortunately I hear that they do not ship their products so you must bring the vehicle in... Thats a problem for me since I'm in SoCal so I will have to seek some local fab help. Anyway, what do you guys think of this design for my truck?

I live in Denver and am also looking at this bumper. If you like, we can see if they will give us any kind of package deal and / or I can ship you the bumper if they wont. I get to the Springs in about 90 minutes - so it's no problem if you want one.

I emailed Jed last week and he said he is 3 months out on orders. He also said he only does custom work so he needs to have your truck about a week to get it all taken care of. One of these days I am going to figure out how to get one of his bumpers. They look incredible.

Yep, most decent fab shops are covered up with work if you ask them. Demello is about the same way.

I have never seen AJ's in person, but the thing I love about armorology is theirs looks so clean. Infact everything I have seen from them is awesome. I really havn't seen anything in person from BentUp and I am sure their stuff is also nice.

AJ made my sliders (my truck is on his website) and I really like how they have held up. I highly recommend AJ and Bentup's armor.

The Waeco coffee maker was a major power hog... very hungry! So, I sold it on Ebay :)

I have decided to stick with more traditional camp coffee solutions such as my tried and true MSR pocket rocket. At some point I may go with Jet Boil but that will be when my pocket rocket wears out, trying to be frugal and use whats already in my "inventory" when possible so I can spend $$$ on trail armor, gears, a kayak, etc...

I use the JetBoil coffee setup for motorcycle camping. It works great.

For the Tacoma- I just bought the electric 4-cup Mr.Coffee unit for $14. It's small and easy to pack. Haven't plugged it into the Tacoma, yet, but it should work nicely.

The biggest thing I like about my MSR Pocket Rocket is the fact that I can make coffee AND cook other things as well so it is a little more general purpose. The JetBoil is good at what it does but seems limited in its application IMO.

I hope it is faster than the Waeco unit I had, it took over 1/2 an hour to make coffee...

1/2 hour?!! My wife would kill me if I made her wait that long for the morning fix.

I plugged the Mr Coffee into the Tacoma the other day and it brewed a full (4 cup) pot in a few minutes. I also noticed that Lowes has a 4-cup coffee maker with a stainless steel pot. Looked like a more expo worthy setup.

Let me know next time you're in San Diego. I'd love to check out your rig in person. I'll buy the coffee.:)
