According to Cobra, the junction box needs to be mounted providing "a good electrical connection to the chassis." But in your case, didn't you mount your box to the back of the center console? And it seems like I've seen others that have mounted the box somewhere other than to a grounded metal surface.![]()
I suppose I could run a separate grounding wire for the box if needed...
