Every time I start to lean towards replacing my Taco with a FJC I see your truck and change my mind. Its lookin great.

The only thing I would replace another Taco with, is another Taco. More gear, more towing, better hauling, = better wheeling.:26_7_2:

I agree and I will probably replace my taco with another one.

So... I am NOT trying to be a smart A*#... What vehicles have you owned prior to the Taco that is your basis for going with another one???

I am asking because I am trying to decide if I want to sell an 80 series and go with a Taco...

Sorry for the hi jack, kind of... Someone else started it..

Not to barge in, but if I had and 80 series I would keep it and build the hell out it. IMO.

Ain't it funny how everyone wants what they don't have.....

To your question Sgt Grunt, I've had 4Runners and this Tacoma. I love all of the trucks for different reasons, and to me the main reason for going with the Tacoma is the external storage capabilities (i.e., the bed). I'm not implying that a 4Runner and an 80 series are the same thing, but they are similar in many ways. To me, that's the main difference in the wagon versus pickup angle of the argument.

I guess you could also argue about Tacoma's being lighter, more efficient, and more nimble, but I think they can be counter-balanced by other LC advantages.
