Sweet! How's the custom rack coming along?

Thats the problem... cant start making rack until I have the tent on hand for measuring etc.

As soon as I get it, I'm loading it up and driving to Demello :hehe:

Congrats!
You're on a roll, or more like a speeding train going down the tracks!

I thought the fabricator was more local? Nothing wrong, he's great!

The big question is...So when is the first trip?

He has some great plans up his sleeve Robb! You are just going to have to wait!

Thanks.
The CFO says this train is coming to a screeching halt after the tent project... :ylsmoke:

I decided to go with Demello since his fab skills are top notch as is his guarantee. He does world class work and since this rack needs to be "expedition grade" I want the very best.

The first trip? Soon! But probably after Christmas...

Thank God, hopefully it will give us poor boys a chance to catch up with mods of our own.:p JK. But on a serious note you've done a very nice job with your truck mimicking some of Scotts ideas and adapting it to an 05.

I'm going in a little different direction with a low mounted Hannibal tent myself, only because I've actually seen a few of them in action and really liked what I saw. For some reason they seem to be a more popular choice up here in Canada as well. Probably because getting an Eezi-Awn shipped in costs a ton, and Hannibal actually has dealers located here. Both are great either way.

So I take it after the rack and tent this thread is going to get quiet for awhile? Perhaps not? What about a custom aux fuel and water setups, or are your just going to jerry can it? Anyway it's been great watching your rapid build up but I'm still looking forward to the rack and tent setup. :clapsmile

I just do not want to steal his thunder! His DeMello mounting rack is going to be sweet. Beyond tough, gussets and all! :Wow1:
