@Verkstadt, you are correct. However it makes things like tire contact pressure etc easier to think about if we use the term ‘weight’ to mean amount of downward force exerted by an object at a given time. Simply a matter of agreeing on a functional meaning of the word in conversation. Most have not studied physics.
