It's by a company dcfabrication. I really like the rear side protection.
Also I've decided to go with the bumpit step sliders

Thanks for the suggestions.
Does any one here have the bumpit step slider? Could you post a pic?

What I like about the bumpit step slider is , it doesn't look like you have sliders. How is the fit to the front trim/mudflap? Does the rear running board end cap fit on the slider?

does the licence plate hang over the hitch insert?

I built a 4x4 Labs bumper from the kit. If you have a welder and a grinder you can save yourself some coin. Build thread: http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/forum2/showthread.php?t=17667&highlight=bumper

I liked that it offers a better departure angle than most but you have to cut the OEM crossmember off. No big deal if you never plan to return the truck to stock. Having the option of interchangeable swing arm attachments is cool too.

I looked at the 4x4labs bumper. I don't like the side protection detail. But other wise I like everything else.

By the way, that was an informative link on your bumper build. It was nice to see step by step how it goes together. I was considering 4x4labs kit, only because I could do it in our shop. I'm really hung up on his side protection detail. It doesn't look finished to me? Who knows, for $500 , maybe I can get past it! :)

The side protection of any bumper comes at a compromise. Most are designed around keeping the flares. Many are removing them. Luke's bumper tries to accommodate both. The beauty of the kit though is you can do what you want to finish it to your liking.

Hey! I forgot to mention! I love that 7pin/flat4 detail! I'm gonna have to borrow that one. Very nice

Here is my rear bumper. I bought it from sean houston, a guy who lives in San Diego and build these in his garage. I can't say enough good things about it. I have seriously abused this bumper and it has never flinched. He has a thread on mud if you want more info (when its back up and running)

The ladder also has a basket that attaches and holds three jerry cans. It can be built with one swing out if so desired.

Thanks, that is my favorite part of my build. It turned out great and is very functional. Pic attached for those who don't want to go search through my build.

Welcome to the Cruiser realm :D

Thanks for the welcome Kurt. I don't know if you've put it together but , it's Drew, the guy who called yesterday getting quotes on the full locker/diff assemblies. The "rover" guy who didn't know ******** about cruisers! Lol

I ordered my step sliders from mike at bumpit off-road today! Really nice guy to talk to, and spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone. Apparently he's booked till may, so it'll be awhile till I get em. Will be sure to post pics and install when I do.

Mike is the ****. I buy all my stuff from him. Great customer service and he does custom modifications. I'd love to find a fella local to him so he can jig up gwagon parts.

I don't get the steel swing out ladder. Cost, weight, and complication. An aluminum hatch mount is much lighter and convenient. You can also use the swing out for something different, like a magma grill. I got my JDM ladder from MOT on Ih8mud. He lives in Japan and scores some cool Japanese Toyota parts. I also have the bug screens for leaving the windows down and sleeping in the back. Great addition when fishing overnight.
