Finally bit the bullet and purchased 94'x3/8" synthetic rope for the winch. $199 shipped including the aluminum fairlead. Receive the package yesterday and had to install it last night.

I actually really like the look of those LED's in the tail gate. Well done!

Thanks again for the photos and measurements on the 63's Mike, I really appreciate the effort. Gives me a starting point for how far I can trim those rear frame rails!

No problem at all. Look forward to your build.

Cool- I have been keeping mine in it's bag in the toolbox and using the flimsy alligator clips when I need to air up, but have been wondering if I could find a good spot to hard wire it..

When it was on the engine bay, I had no issues with the heat. I'm reconfiguring my storage in the bed and wanted to have the compressor more centralized to the tires and closer to the fuse block.

Just scored a Weather Gaurd bed slide model 3200 bed rat for $100 on Craigslist. Time to start reconfiguring the bed storage. This bed slide is going to make it a lot easier to load the truck up with gear. I plan on removing the side walls and having a platform span across the whole bed. I'll be relocating my Jobox on top of the platform.

Just picked it up.

Installed the bedslide and mounted the jobox on top. Decided to mount the box towards the pass side more.
