Now that is what I am talking about, I "upgraded my factory reverse bulbs with LEDs and they are anemic at best!!! Did you splice them directly into the reverse light wiring loom?

No, I have them on a separate switch. So I can turn them on/off whenever I want.

Nice! I got those for my brothers tundra for Xmas. We installed them in the bumper on a separate switch, very bright!

Ive been debating ordering those lights to mount in my factory LX470 bumper for a couple months now. You just helped me make my decision.
Yours looks great and thanks!

Glad I can help.

Yes, bright indeed. Can't wait to see the brightness of 2.

Here's one more side pic showing how much it protrudes.

I like that a lot, Mike... how do the wires run from the tailgate and under the truck?

I ran the wires through an existing hole at the bottom of the tailgate, underneath the bed along the pass. side frame rail, through the drain plug of the bed and connected to my fuseblock. The fuseblock and relays is mounted to the wall of the bed towards the cab.

I like this! May have to do something similar myself. Don't have a spot to mount lights in my rear bumper, and my back windows are way too dark... Looks like it'll be great for lighting up the campsite being on its own switch.

Same here. No where to mount on the bumper or the shell. Only option for these lights was to integrate them into the tail gate. so, the angle grinder, drill and files came out.

That's nice. Might have to do this for my dads tundra since I don't have a tail gate anymore

The lights look great. I picked up the same kind for mine but also grabbed the Rigid angled brackets to point them down some.

let me know if the rigid mounts are an exact fit. I was tempted to get them but wasn't sure if the mounting holes are the same.

They were a perfect fit both for the bolts and shape of the light. They also come with a pair of 3m adhesive gaskets for each light that should do a nice job of sealing them up. Made me feel a little better about the price..

Part of my logic in buying the rigid adapters was to check the fit in case these cheap clone lights turn out to be short lived.
