Earthcruiser Skybed?

I’ve been trying to find a place to buy something like the Skybed that Earthcruiser used to offer in their EC model: a roll-out mesh/net extra bunk bed over their dinette.

Anyone ever come across something like this in their travels? My Google skills are failing me.

Our Flippac and our Mission Overland trailer have had similar cots that are just canvas sewn around tubes in various ways and the appropriate hardware to hold the tube up. Could this be an easy project for your local canvas shop or sail loft?

That being said, Google is failing me with the “appropriate hardware”…

FWIW when we were kids my uncle did something like that - a simple square aluminum tube frame with tightly stretched canvas sewn over the tubes on all four sides. Sort of like an old WWII Army cot.

Worked great.

OEV makes one for there campers. X2 on just getting the hardware and having a shop sew up the net/mesh and sleeves
