Back from Germany but fly to Asia Saturday... Crazy travel season again.

The most interesting thing is the 2nd leg of this Asia trip is 4 days in Jakarta. Not sure I want to head to Jakarta right now!

Yes the squabbling here is a bit painful. I am so much looking forward to another company trying to make one of the most capable offroad platforms into a useful livable overland machine. There are a lot of positives here. Thanks Mike for keeping us informed, even when there seems to be little to inform us about. This is a pretty hungry crowd, and I will speak for myself in saying that enjoy even the smallest of crumbs thrown my way.

Thanks for understanding, Ken. The vehicle build could have gone a lot faster if it was going to be one-of-one. It's the business startup thrown in that takes time.

Seriously, given how many times we'd had a date and something came up, I can't risk my already-dwindled reputation by giving another prediction. I suspect it will be when Red Cannon gets to the position that when someone sees my finished product and says, "That's cool; can I have one, too?," they'll be able to say, "Sure."

You all have been impressively patient, and I've routinely felt badly about not having any useful information to share.

That said, Red Cannon is presenting next Monday in front of a gaggle of venture capitalists, the outcome of which will influence their next steps. I therefore expect I'll have some authentic news by the end of next week.
