Actually, any factual, accurate, and true statements would be neither libel nor slander. Speaking only the truth or with clear statements of opinion is perfectly defensible.
I was mean if it were true, that the statement(s) were to be false.
In my opinion both Dion and his wife Jennifer are mentally unbalanced and I would advise no one to ever do business with them. Their actions in this thread speak volumes. Now they have deleted their posts, but make no mistake, in my opinion their posts were full of admissions of guilt, crazy rants and borderline delusional comments. To sum up what happened:
- Dion came in here a few weeks back and posted a huge rant comparing himself to Nicola Tesla (the great inventor). That post is still available on previous pages (someone quoted it). I have it saved as well.
- Then a few days ago his wife Jennifer came in and posted 6 pages of the contract between them and Red Cannon. In my opinion this contract only made them look worse and I was confused as to why they posted it (since it was a very well laid out contract). I have this contract saved to my computer as well.
- Jennifer then entered defense mode, posting various posts portraying Mike as a rich and OCD man who sits behind his computer and portrayed she and her husband as small town folk who are just trying to do their best. She took zero responsibility for her, or her husbands actions. She claimed it was all Mike's fault. One of these posts I quoted, and is still available to read.
- Then today I login and all posts are deleted (just like, I assume, they deleted their facebook page and blamed it on "hackers"). They claim to have a lawyer and accuse everyone here of slander. Funny, the only slander I saw in here was the slander posted BY THEM towards Mike. Maybe that is why they deleted the posts?

I think they should both run for Congress, Dion & His Wife..........Not Mike
Even congressmen have to take responsibility for their actions when they get caught
I think maybe bank manager would be a good job for Dion, since he can apparently make money disappear so easily.

thats all warm and fuzzy, but this is a business venture loss, and the last time i did court, instead of guido, i needed the suit for the IRS. im not an accountant or tax lawyer, but typically you cant write off theft without some sort of legal action taken, methinks.
maybe theres an IRS agent in the house?

I know retail businesses write off theft every year. Its a simple fact of life, unfortunately
As far as writing off theft in general... seems the only requirement is the assumption that the theft was done with criminal intent.
Although we are talking about somebody robbing a few hundred dollars off the kitchen table.... So it may not be that easy once actually filing.
A 5-digit theft claim may raise some red flags.

im just saying, i may know someone that had 90000 in logs "sold off" by a home builder before said builder disappeared in a WV meth/kiddie porn/rape addiction, and to claim a tax write off, charges had to be filed.
IRS wants to be sure you didnt "steal" it yourself.

This still disturbs me. They worked together, and Mr. Swails knew Mr. Kranz enough to reach out and provide you with a written recommendation, yet he had no idea that Mr. Kranz is/was way way way over his head with this level of a venture? Putting aside Mr. Kranz's clear lack of knowledge of operating a business, based on the pictures, his workmanship/skill is beyond comment. One has to wonder what his role was at Earthroamer or how long he was employed. Really none of my/our business but has Mr. Swails ever followed up with you or weighed in?
