engine code 25, IAC

I am getting engine code 25 on a 93 4.0. i replaced the idle air controller and disconnected the battery but the light came back. i checked for vaccum leaks. any ideas?

edit; the jeep seems to run fine

DId you recheck and see if the code is cleared ? If the problem is fixed, I believe you can pull the - battery cable for about 15 minutes or so and that should reset it...if not, I think that it will reset itself after 50 starts..

Assuming you plucked that 93 4.0 from a yj I just looked on alldata and its showing code 25a is a/c clutch relay circuit.. Hope this helps

I did remove the battery cable. all of the trouble code s on internet I've found say 25 is the IAC???

An open or shorted condition detected in one or more of the idle air control motor circuits; or Actual idle speed does not equal target idle speed

Before I start you are solely responsible for anything you do to your vehicle, Im posting this for you for your knowledge not to tell you what to do. Ok so under Trouble code 18 it has the IAC motors and circuit. .
