First day of the overland route home. Photo post-up.

What an evening! We had tequila, music, peasant pancakes and a slide show all surrounded by beautiful scenery and a warm breeze.

Chris was able to log on and start this thread; I guess we weren't as remote as it felt. Cool. And some others managed to go for a night hike up through a slot canyon.

The next morning I took a sun-rise hike up the trail.

Justin removed all traces of the fire ring in the photo.

Kofa was a simply amazing place. I would love to go back with more time to explore.
I read up on Kofa after getting home and was surprised that it's about 40 miles by 25 miles in size. That's 1000 square miles!
