Not really an Overland trip, but the Big South Fork River and Recreation Area was an unknown place to us. I had no clue that there was so much to see and do in such a small area of Tennessee and Kentucky. If you like hikes, waterfalls, caves and stone arches it really is worth your time to visit! Here is part 1 of our trip to The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.

Our trip to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area of Tennessee last April was amazing! We had no idea this truly remarkable place existed. Waterfalls, caves and arches, and arches inside a cave! If you're in Tennessee and wish to escape the crowds of the Smoky Mountains, this is the place to be.
