Here are some photos of the first color coats. These were taken before the paint was fully dry, but looking at the frame you can see it's drying to a very nice matte finish. Tomorrow I'll flip everything and finish up the other sides.

I'm getting ready to shoot the underside of the tub with olive drab bed liner so I've got the tub sides masked. The bed liner will be the final layer to protect the underside of the plywood floor from the elements.

Also in the photo are the pair of wheels I painted yesterday; the color and low lustre finish is exactly what I was hoping for. Not completely flat, just a very slight lustre so every speck of dust and dirt doesn't show up...

The finish is the same on all the other parts. After I shoot the bed liner on the bottom of tub, I'll flip the frame and fenders over to paint the other sides. Tomorrow the frame should be ready to be reassembled.

Bed liner finished. The color match to the paint is pretty much perfect. The wheel is in more direct light in this photo so it looks slightly lighter than the bed floor, compare the darker parts of the rim in shadows to the bed floor.

I did the underside first to test the color match, if it wasn't good enough I could make adjustments to the tint before I sprayed the inside of the tub. No adjustments necessary.

Everything is painted now except for the tub itself, I'll start that tomorrow. But first thing tomorrow, I'll reassemble the frame for the last time so I can roll it out of the garage to make room for painting the tub.

In this next shot you can also see the original M416 fenders, they're wet because this photo was taken immediately after they were painted:

Most of the hardware got the O.D. treatment as well...

Would you mind sharing the RAL code of this green color please?
I've used 6022 on mine but got darker than I'd like...

I don't think the Hot Rod Flatz o.d. urethane (http://www.tcpglobal.com/Customshop...y2=Gallon-Kit&websitecategory3=Medium+Reducer.) came with a paint code, but I can check the can tomorrow. I'm not where the paint is right now.

Also, to get the Raptor bed liner color matched I had Elmira Auto Paint scan a sample of the Hot Rod Flatz to match it in an ordinary base coat for tinting, I think they put a code on that can, so I can probably get you that code if the Flatz doesn't have a code.

The trailer is going to POP when bolted all together.
Although more of a desert tan person I do like the Olive Drap satin you picked.

Nice job on the wheels they are very close to the original 416 style.

It would be very kind of you...

The can of Hot Rod Flatz olive drab did not have a code on it. Pictured below is the can of PPG Omni base coat that Elmira Auto Paint mixed for me to tint the Raptor bed liner to match the Flatz olive drab. The code on it is "OEM Code: 5102013". If you need more information I can ask the guys at EAP for whatever you need.

Here are a few photos of the final assembly of the frame. Hard to tell that it's a Harbor Freight frame now that it's no longer red :).

There are a few more photos of the completed frame in the main build thread at the Trailer Adventuring Forum: http://tventuring.com/trailerforum/thread-119.html

Next up: priming/painting/bed lining the tub. Then final assembly of the complete trailer.

Thanks a lot!
Unfortunatelly the only color code that would work in our case(internationally)is RAL code.
