FJ front tube bumper

Hello.. This is my front tube bumper that I'm building for my fj.
Does anyone here have the dimensions for a warn 9000 winch ? I cant finish the center section as I dont have a winch yet and it will be awhile before I can afford one. But I would like to get the bumper completed winch mounting plate, skid etc.. The measurements I need are .....left to right, front to back, top to bottom and how much clear space around those measurements I would need.
Thanks in advance.

If you plan to install & use a winch, I would seriously consider adding more frame mounting points, the stock ones you used won't be up to par (IMO) for winching. Check out some of the other commercially available units (ie ARB, etc) to see how you could impliment something similar.

Looks like a nice design!

The bumper looks great. I couldn't tell exactly from the diagram but the mounting holes are 4x10 on center:)

Actually, the standard mounting pattern for personal recovery winches, generaly under 10,000 is, 4.5" by 10".

Lookin' good. Keep us posted. :)

Yup, I believe that is true.

The tubework on the FJC looks good. But as already mentioned, it would be wise to tie it into the frame at an additional location. Preferrably at, or above the winch. Of this assumes that you are attaching the winch plate to the bumper alone....if you have the winch plate tied in to the frame as well as the bumper, then you may not need additional support.

Her is the winch tray setup,I think Im going to add steel behind the left and right outriggers for branch protection but still retain the tube look. the bumper weighs 65lbs so far.
