Does anyone know if a FoxWing Awning will fit and function properly on an AT FlipPac? If it matters the camper will probably be going on a 2003 ExtraCab Taco.

We have not tried it yet but preliminary measurements indicate to me that it would be a bit odd on a 6 foot bed. The picture is of a Tacoma with a 6 foot bed. The Fiamma awning that is attached is 72" long. As you can see, it has about 1" inch on the left before it would interfere with the latch. On the right side it has 6-8". The FoxWing body is 99" long and to function well, it would need to hang past the rear of the shell by about 4" to function properly. this would leave a substantial amount hanging forward of the shell. It would probably work well on an 8 foot shell though. Also, the body of the FoxWing would need to be spaced away from the body of the shell in order to allow proper access to the FoxWing zippers.
Elcoyote...perfect picture since I have the same truck as pictured and am considering an ATFP. The color match is pretty good. Is there some paint coming off at the front right corner where the hinge is? Anymore pics?
Thanks, Mario. I recently saw a FlipPac with the latches on the rear as opposed to the side mounting latches currently being used. I was wondering if that was an option when building? It seems that having the latches on the rear would facilitate a few more mounting options for those who desire them.
