FlyingWen's Xterra

Looks good! I like how the shrock bumper covers the winch area like that. I'm leaning towards TJM because of availability. I've got a buddy thats can weld a good piece of metal over it, similar to the Shrock bumper.

Looking good Wen.

How about a rear bumper?

Very nice Wen. You guys did a good job. And I agree with Wil, if you are going to pass on the "safety snorkle" a rear bumper would be very nice indeed.

Ahhhhh..... :)
How about it? Seriously I think they're only 50% worthwhile on that series of Xterra since your handsome plastic corners will remain ... uh, plastic. Apply the brakes, bro! It's a very nice tire carrier, but I'd spend the cash on something with better bang-to-buck value (gasoline for a trip being #1). Do you need a tire carrier on that bad boy? Do you have a 2" receiver already? If so, you've got the recovery point in the bag. I'd tread lightly here, this being a light-duty OH vehicle: $800+ for a tire carrier and recovery point.

The voice of reason has spoken.

Yup, but it increase departure angle bymoving the spare. It will also allow for a hi-lift mounting point not on the roof.

It is very nice...the X has no reciever nor any rear recovery points other than the rear spring hangers.:smilies27

That is part of it... plus FlyingWen did mention that she wanted one. Thanks for your input Mark!

Well why didn't you just say so?!?!?!! The only thing that matters.

Based upon the look of them it might be easier to fab one up than buy one.

Can't believe I missed this thread. Welcome to our "Cult"

Nice looking truck... but I'm partial ;)

My rear bumper is fabbed and has worked GR8 on my two X's so far. Don't worry about the plastic... it's $29 and I still have my originals anyway. I ride my truck hard and they are never a factor.

I am really likeing the X :wings:
I have wanted one since the first came out.

We have the "Dixie Horn" all ready to install, but the Trophy has gotten in the way of that, GEESE!

We did get the Ammo box in the back for the recovery gear

hey do a trail install! if i can install a wireing harness and remote fuse block in the dark during a wind storm with a lantern and a flashlight, im sure you can put that in at the trophy!
