That rear bumper is very nice, Wil. Looks like you got it installed just in time to prevent a little extra sheet metal mods.

Wil that's a nice looking bumper! Just curious...in that third shot what is the hole in the bumper for?

BTW, Slee did email me back and I may try to build my design off that style. Doesn't seem overly complicated. Am building in Inventor right now.

Patrick-

The hole (on the bottom) is for servicing the swing gate. It is basically a giant bolt, as you can see in picture #2.

Hope that helps. I will try and get you some more pics.

The Brown Truck brought in some more goodies for the Taco!!! Should be installing the self spotting system this weekend (with the exception of the front bumper camera)

Yowza!
Cool Monitor setup!
Are you going to run just the cameras through that or the GPS/navigation as well? (Is that possible?)

The plan it to keep it separate at this point...I prefer a redundant system if at all possible. I would eventually like to go to a dedicated vehicle PC using the double din... at that point I could use the monitor as monitor #2 and cross output the data going to the monitor. It is down the road at this point.

What specifically are you looking for Kurt?

It is a 4 camera (FAX, RAX, Rear, Front), where both axle camera's are B&W and the front and rear are color.... then connected to the monitor. The connections have and addional line in and line out (for recording). Other than that I will need to dig into the box to find out more.

Do you have to run video cable to the monitor from all the cameras, or is there are remote harness and just run one cable to the monitor?

It is all set up into a wiring harness designed for the Taco. From a quick glance at the unit Total Vision did a great job. Each camera has custom made mounts, and the harness it top notch. I will try and post up a pic when I get around to it.

I'm mostly interested in the LCD screen only.... I don't see pricing their site for just the LCD setup, nor a LCD that mounts as yours does. Price?

Does it fold up or all our partially underneath the light assembly?
