Food storage inside fridge

Hey all. How does everyone go about packing there fridge? What kind of containers do you use to maximize the space inside? I have the 50qt arb and am trying to find the best Tupperware or any other kind of containers that will not waste a lot of space inside when stacked and packed. Does everyone keep the white basket that came with the fridge inside or use other means of dividing food, beverages and the like?

I also use stackable plastic baskets that were for CD storage.

All my containers have a lot of holes or are make out of screen.

I use the "Snapware" containers, avail from bed bath & beyond, target, frys etc. Completely liquid tight/airtight, no spill, square for max space efficiency, all sizes compatable for stacking. Keeps things fresh and no crush (fruits).

We also use zip lock bags as you can fit alot of bits and pieces into the nooks and crannies that way

Milk, juices, and rootbeer on the bottom along with zip bags, and in the baskets above the fruit is loose in the baskets along with more old Tupperware.
Coffee/scoop is in an old orange colored Tupperware.

The Container Store also has an assortment of other hanging baskets, different shapes/sizes. I picked up a few and have used each in different situations.

Glass or plastic Snapware? I'd guess glass....

As one of the guys that make actual Ziploc bags, I recommend to just buy the freezer bags. The extra mils are worth it. I am not a fan of the EZ Slider bags either. With the zipper bags, the zipper is molded with the bag and a much-less chance of failure. With the slider bags, its post-applied.

For a harder-sided container, I use some Ziploc brand(Tupperware-style) plastic containers. They seem to hold up well. I have been using some of them for several years now and they seal liquids in great.

Ziploc also sells some giant zipper bags. They were great for blankets and sleeping bags and are fairly durable.

Yes, I get the stuff on the cheap but I am not on a commision!

Ditto. They are the plastic ones, http://www.organize.com/med16cupmods.html and they work great. I've also seen the glass ones, but I'm a little nervous about having glass on a trip.

Tupperware for things that leak, bags for things that don't (plus the bags can be fit into the extra space that the containers leave).
