Kind of ugly but it sure is weird!
That right there is funny!:xxrotflma
Can't say as I'd ever seen such a creation, I wonder how long they hung onto the '71 body style. That 4 headlight front end on that body style is just aweful.

The trucks sold in South America depending on vintage typically either come with an MWM motor (4.2l 6cyl, turbo) or the 4BT Cummins mated to the ZF-5 trans fitted to 94-97 trucks, and 4.10 rear gears.I just looked it up:
The fifth-generation F-Series was introduced in Brazil in 1971, where it remained in production until circa 1992.[6] It received a series of changes and updates over the two decades of production, eventually being fitted with a 3.9 liter turbodiesel. Sold as the F-1000, it was the last Ford truck manufactured in the Ipiranga plant which closed soon after the truck's discontinuation. The F-1000 was only available with a single cab, but a number of local specialists custom-built double cabs.
Turbo diesel 6 cyl. Even better!!!

OK, so what happed to the 4wd switch?I put the air bag controller and engine tuner knob in place of the 4wd rotary switch.

I'm guessing a lever on the floor where they belong. One of the things I miss about my OBS F350 that the SD doesn't have![]()
It's not a pickup, but it is Domestic and Fullsize and a Ford...
