Finally took it out an did a little wheeling to test the springs. Unfortunately, I was the only one taking pics and its hard to get pics of myself!!! We also were in a bit of a rush due to some overheating issues early on so we didn't stop for too many poser shots. We went up to 4 Peaks and ran the El Oso Mine Loop. Not hard but fun and a lot of washed out areas for full articulation.
At full stuff, the rear tires still rub a little on the top inside of the fender well, but they no longer rub the sheet metal, so the lift and trim worked there.
The front however, still needs the pinch weld folded and a little inside trimming. The fender sheet metal itself is ok tho and will not require any cutting. I also need to get with Jesse and get some 3" spacers. I have 2" in it now but his friend makes an aluminum spacer to replace it that slides on and has a set screw to hold it there. He can make it any size but I think a 3" will be fine and I would want one much bigger than that....that should level me out!!
The only real poser shots were at the start by a wet wash area, just pulled up on the bank to stuff the rear tire.
Other side coming down
This is about the worst the loop got, but it was fun to play for an afternoon and mom and dad were with me so it wasn't too much of a scare for them!!!
Beautiful scenery up there too!!
Roosevelt lake
Back of 4 Peaks on the road out...looks like 3 peaks but one is hidden.... Look at the snow!!
