It's scary that no matter how nice a van is or how much is into it, selling it with a problem in the engine means you'll be lucky to get pennies on the dollar. Some mechanic might buy it and fix it, if he has a shop and tools and his spare time. But a potential owner looking for a rig to take out and enjoy? Dropping a new engine in is serious money.

... supposedly this one was fully bulletproofed, ARP headstuds and all. Makes you wonder what went wrong or what the rest of the story is. I'm a believer that mild improvements to the 6.0 that emphasize durability over performance are the way to go...
