Yeah, unless he's found some alchemic way to run the van on iron oxide, there are some significant missing pieces at the center of his rust craters.:Wow1:

Actually, I think he means that by supplementing with the French-fry oil conversion (which needs to get up to temp running on diesel) he can get 100mpg out of his real diesel fuel, not that either fuel produces 100mpg.

My dad was able to get over 200 mpg on his VW van! He would go on a trip and have a great time, then the VW would break down and I or someone else would have to go down and pull him home - when he calculated his MPG it would be insanely high :Wow1::Wow1::Wow1:

I think he is stating he used only 5 gallons of diesel and the rest was the free veggie oil and he should have did a cost per mile calculation instead of as MPG.
