I looked t this.. has lots of deferred maintenance - won't go faster than 65mph / this should be on 3rd set of plugs - needs complete tune up and likely, more than one coil pack - has leaks - cam chain guide/ idlers noise - manifold stud broken/ the stainless stud/manifold update has never been installed - abs fails likely a hub - rs lockout does not work well have to use plyers to actuate - sway bar bushings / links bad - multiaccess belt squeals - needs idlers and tensioner as well as belt - ign swith sticks / no airbags / fan all accessories fail, have to jiggle ign switch after starting, the switch needs service cleaning lube maybe replacement - power steering fluid cooler leeks - the rear seats they are all, missing - tires are no good - he put 1 new on rest are toast - transfer case leaks - on shift to 2nd gear hear a loud squeek - could be failing u-jount somwhere - the ****ty wrap - will be hard to remove the seller is not transparent in what he has. AC barely blows cool - he is doing only minimal repairs to facilitate sale - i made him an offer yesterday based on the fact the truck needs upwards of 5k in repairs of 5k - offer was 7,200.00 cash - he became angry and invited me to leave - i called him this morning - he advised the truck is in for plugs - he would not tell me if it was getting a complete tuneup - he has a backyard mechanic that does not have a scanner help him with things i learned in course of inspection. he advised me he would not share with me the invoice nor details of the spark plug replacements - and hung up on me says he has some 15 more people waiting... someone from New Jersey, drove to MN monday, likely inspected this and passed (he says they never showed - fact is it is not roadworthy - i spoke to him that monday just an hour before that party was to arrive...) - the wrap was installed by a company local to his place... he would not however provide the details so i could call them to ask them for cost estimate for them to remove the wrap - he is not a good person to deal with in my opinion - his name is steve
