Nice truck, if you don't mind me asking where did you find your solid center steel wheels, (no holes) I haven't been able to find them.

Where did you pick those coleman brackets up from? I’ve been searching for them on line – can’t find them. I like your set up with everything so far. I just got my SD rack and am now outfitting it for travel. Limb risers will be on the horizon. I’d like to see some pics closer up of how you mounted them.

Bill,

I ordered the brackets from Coleman Racing.

Okay, stupid newbie question time but what is the purpose of running a cable on either side of the basket to bumper? I've seen them on Landcruisers, FJ, Land Rovers and Mecerdes but I've never understood why. Is it just to help stablize the load/basket?

Nice land rover by the way.

Bravo! Very inspiring as I begin my DII work. Especially the last sets of photos where you and the family are out enjoying it! Can you now provide the funds as well? :jumping:

Thanks for the limb risers and thanks for letting check your disco out - very impressive.

Thank you, the best part is just getting out and using it.

Let's hear more about your DII, What type of mods are you planning?

The solid center wheels are P38 Range Rover spare wheels. I'm not sure exactly what year range, but I know at least the early years had them (through 98+).

Louis - As i was heading out of the parking lot you asked me if I had gotten my exhaust done yet. To which I replied "no." Then I heard you fire your Disco up - what do you have going on under there? Noticeable performance increase?

I replaced the Y-pipe with a less restrictive cat.

Then I replaced the stock muffler with a single inlet dual outlet 40 series Flowmaster that turns down just before the rear axle, it feels a lot more responsive.
