Selling my rust free 1998 LS Gen 2.5 Montero. Located in Colorado I have had this for 3 years and it has performed flawless and is very well maintained. It comes with a bin of spare switches, bolts, oil filters, etc. Mileage is at 231,224. I have put almost exactly 15k on it. Big highlight is the valve guide seals were done prior to my ownership. Burns zero oil and there are no leaks. Under my ownership I had the heatercore rebuilt with a new brass core. Heat blows hot when outside temp is above 20 degrees, below that it's warm. I suspect I have one of the blend doors misaligned as the heater fan blows slightly less powerful than when its on A/C or full cold with AC off. Other than that the only other know issue is the horn suffers from the same cold temp problem as most other monteros and will honk when them temps are very well below freezing. I just pull fuse during that time. All maintenance is up to date. Included with the sale are brand new lower control arm with uninstalled siberian bushings. I will change the oil prior to sale. This is my 4th Monty, I love them but I started a business 1 month prior to the pandemic start and want the extra funds to expand the operation. In the below list will be a link to a google drive gallery of pics and the previous owners build thread from this forum. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
