Wow, and I thought our fuel was expensive in Canada.
thats nothing in AUS the further you get away from metrpolitan areas the higher the cost of fuel
when you get to remote areas expect anything up to and over $2 a litre this is due to transport cost?? (aparently it costs 10 times more to transport fuel than anything else)
we also have the good old fuel price cycle
where fuel is expensive at one part of the week and cheap at another
the expensive day is always pay day (thursday) and normaly cheap on tuesdays as much as 15 cents per litre in some places
of course this changes when public holidays fall on cheap days
apparently fuel pricing is a complex procedure that only the oil companies understand, way to complex for the average aussie to comprehend
of course we do have a government body in OZ to make sure the consumer isnt getting ripped off
apparently they dont get it either
