The Portal's oft-referenced credo--"It's not the vehicle that makes the difference, it's the adventure"--seems to make it appropriate to cite the current availability of Tatoosh, accidental zillionaire Paul Allen's smaller yacht, which is now on the resale market. This is semi-old news, since it went up for sale in May, but I somehow didn't get the announcement.
Tatoosh is about a hundred feet shorter than Mr. Allen's larger yacht, Octopus, and since we've had a lot of ExPo threads about the merits of smaller, more nimble vehicles recently, perhaps this might be just the thing.
Seriously (well, a little), I posted this because it's cool to look at the pictures to see the impressive engineering and craftsmanship. Besides, it was either post it here or in the Joke of the Day thread.

However, if you're having trouble funding the next tank of gas for your Cherokee, you might need to give this a pass; a fillup of the 100,000+ gallon tankage would be quite a financial drain. (Looks like it gets about 25 gallons to the mile, even worse than my Unimog camper.)
Not mine, no connection, don't know the guy, yada, yada . . .
The apparently mythical exchange of F. Scott Fitzgerald remarking "The rich are different from you and me," to which Ernest Hemingway was quoted as saying, "Yes, they have more money," would seem to apply here. :sombrero:
