Started tacking up the new turbo manifold, i was'nt happy with the old one.
it's a TD06SL2-20G compressor wheel 52.5/68mm 25G turbine wheel 54.1/61mm 11 blade 3"inlet 2" outlet 3" v band exhaust out. T3 flange.
the motor is a 4.2 litre, after discussing it with the people from Garret at SEMA it is what was recommended, no waste gate, the old turbo was bigger and had no wastegate, also the new turbo size is also recommended for 4.2 patrols as an upgrade.Hi Alan,
TD06 sounds like a big turbo for the little 3.9..
What's the cm2 A/R on the turbine hsing?
I assume its not gated, will you run ext gate or free-float?
I expect you'll have to fuel the crap outa it to make it spool at all, but hope it works well for ya.

So Alan... did you polish the internals of the manifold and match port it for that extra 0.3% more horsepower?
