ill swing by tomorrow and check them out on my way home.
anyone have any more info on these? are they blitz? or some no name company? i dont care about the spout, as they would only be used with a super siphon, but i do care about the quality and the seal when they are closed!
im looking for some to attach to the rear bumper, i need them soon so i can build a mount for them!

That one is your typical carb compliant can that you can get other places too.
Wedco did not stop making cans. They stopped making NATO style cans here in the U.S. They were forced by law to change over to a child proof latch and special nozzle. Jerry cans were never hard to find in California, they were just different cans. They were one of the first CARB compliant states and helped pave the way for this new style cans along with a bunch of other states. Now CARB is a national thing. All jerry can manufactures had to switch over to this new style. Blitz and Wedco made the switch, Scepter did not and pulled out of the US market. The new style also has a child proof latch thingy on it.
Look closely
This is the old NATO style latch that you can no longer buy in the US, with exception of old NATO ones found in surplus.
This is the new carb compliant one that was put into law nationally not too long ago. These first appeared in California, Connecticut, and other states a few years ago before the national law came about. The only difference now is that they also have a child proof latch on them now.

Yes thats them. They are good quality and they are on sale .. they were 40 a pop. Good solid metal with a good cap. Probably going to go by today and pick up the last two.

I think there are two different Harbor Freight sites. One is like the catalog only and the other one is for on-line shopping. When I g**gle it there are two different sites for them like the ones you posted there.

Sort of. The new ones have a child proof cap (imo it's easier to open then the old ones, defeating the purpose) What you see in the pic is a special nozzle that attaches to the opening that is suppose to keep vapor emissions to a minimum when you are fuelling. I tried them and I don't like it.
But the real question is ... will it break the first time you use it, like everything else from HF? Cause that might be bad, what with it containing fuel and all
Judging from the pic, they look like Wedco's or close to it at least, so no they should be fine.
