By chance does anyone here use a GE MVS radio and have a programming cable for it? I'm trying to program some radios and the USB<->TTL cable that I'd planned to use isn't working.

I would guess you need to have a null modem adapter or cable to make it work, but I don't have any first hand experience with it.

Yep, I've spent a lot of time on that site. I need a USB<->TTL cable with the little Molex (I think...) 5x2 connector on the end.

YOu might also look for a program called motoslow. Many modern PC are to fast to work with some of the timing based radio programmers. motoslow will eat CPU cycles so its slow enough.
This might not be precisely all you need, but it is a good start. Seems like a ready made at fleebay might be easier.
