What is it?

I looked on the internet for all the answers, and it seems to be that an SR5 Xtracab 4x4 Manual is in the neighborhood of 1800 Lbs?

Wondering what really is the answer

My plan is to wedge camper a gen 1, along with some camping stuff.

Look at the a pillar on yer truck. that is all that counts.
Soo many options, different configurations no way the internet can keep up.
BUT the MOT, DOT, Weights and Measures Guys only read the numbers on the a-pillar on yer truck.

Nothing else counts.
Payload is deceiving, GVWR is the term to pay attention to..... and scale yer truck fully loaded, people, gas, dogs, water, clothing...
Fully loaded as you leave town scale it..... best way to find out if yer legal.
After an accident if the DOT guy thinks you might be heavy....
They will scale it.

If I remember correctly my 02 TRD off-road is just under 1700 lbs. That's more than enough for a wedge camper with a weight conscious setup. The biggest issue is those trucks are getting long in the tooth at this point and the rear springs were soft from the factory. It'll most likely need some sort of helper spring or leaf spring replacement.
